PRA International Opens New Office in South KoreaLarger office meets growing project needs in the regionPRNewswireRALEIGH, N.C.Nov. 2

RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ --PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, announces the opening of a new office facility in Seoul, South Korea. To accommodate rapid growth and further broaden PRA's ability to deliver clinical service excellence, the company has moved its Seoul, South Korea office to a larger, more centrally located facility.

Situated in the well-developed Gangnam area of Seoul, PRA's new office is conveniently located at the Samsung subway station and very close to the City Airport Terminal. In the past several months PRA has experienced substantial growth in South Korea based on increasing customer and project needs. The need for a larger office space was met with the move to the new facilities on Monday, 26 October 2009.

South Korea is widely regarded as the third most important pharmaceutical market in Asia and as one of the most important Asian countries for clinical studies to support new drug registrations. "The increasing demand for study work in South Korea drove the need for increased capacity," said Dr. Ludger Langer, PRA's Vice President - Clinical Operations, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa. "We are now better positioned to meet the continued needs of our customers in this region."

In moving the office to the Gangnam area, PRA will have better access to the study institutions in Seoul and can provide greater convenience to sponsors who visit the area. "The Gangnam area location will enable PRA to continue to attract the best qualified and most experienced clinical research personnel to join the rapidly expanding PRA Korea team," noted Edward Ian, Senior Director of Clinical Operations, PRA - Asia Pacific.
