WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Hispanic National Bar Association ("HNBA") announces the participation of the HNBA International Law Section at the 2009 Fall Meeting of the American Bar Association's (ABA) Section on International Law (October 28-31, Miami, Florida). The event marks the first time that the two national bar associations have worked together in an integrated fashion on a substantive law program that reflects new approaches for diversity in the U.S. legal profession.
The HNBA International Law Section has organized a presentation by a panel comprised of HNBA members that are in-house counsel to major U.S. companies doing significant business in Latin America. Included on the panel are the Moderator Ms. Suzette Recinos (Chair, HNBA International Law Section; Associate General Counsel, Pitney Bowes); Mr. Alberto Mora (General Counsel, Mars, Inc.); Mr. Peter M. Reyes, Jr. (Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property, Cargill), Ms. Ramona E. Romero (Assistant General Counsel, DuPont); and Mr. Luis Artime (Associate General Counsel, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.). The panel will address recent legal developments in Latin America and offer insights particular to the perspective of U.S. Latino in-house counsel.
