Envysion Announces Integration With PAR Point-of-Sale (POS)

Envysion Announces Integration With PAR Point-of-Sale (POS)Company's Managed Video as a Service (MVaaS) offerings to support ParTech's InFusion(TM) POS systemPRNewswireLOUISVILLE, Colo.Oct. 19

LOUISVILLE, Colo., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Envysion(R), Inc., (www.envysion.com) the leading provider of Managed Video as a Service (MVaaS), today announced the integration of PAR's InFusion(TM) POS system into the company's MVaaS offerings. Designed for multi-unit quick service restaurant chains and their franchisees, InFusion(TM) is a complete Point-of-Sale software suite with front-of-house, back office, configuration management, and operational reporting.

Traditional video providers who offer point-of-sale integration typically overlay or superimpose data into video. This requires data be gathered via serial printer data taps at the store level. Unlike these video providers, Envysion separates the aspects of video and data through TCP integration at the store or enterprise level. The POS data is collected in a database that allows users to perform searches, create alerts and develop exception-based reports, all correlated with the respective video of the POS event occurring.

"Integration with PAR's InFusion(TM) enables Envysion to provide our customers with advanced video management features that help them to better understand their business," said Matt Steinfort, president and CEO of Envysion. "POS integration provides our customers with the tools to help support their operations and loss prevention efforts to drive 10 to 15 percent of profitability to their bottom line."

"The powerful combination of Envysion's MVaaS and PAR's InFusion(TM) POS Software offers a compelling set of tools that provide a tremendous benefit to customers," said Karen Sammon, Vice President and Chief Product Officer of ParTech, Inc. "Customers now have the ability to remotely view transactional detail as if they were standing at the register when the transaction took place."

"It was very important to our organization to have the ability to tie video to our point-of-sale system," said Evan Pennant-Jones, Director of Operations of Amaregal, Inc., a multi-unit Burger King Franchisee. "Envysion's integration with PAR provides a strategic look into all of our transactional data and allows users to easily and quickly drill down to specific transactions and see the associated video using Envysion's exception reports and alerts features."
