The acquisition enables MPI to share leadership in the Industry by producing the widest and most diverse range of release-coated Films [.00025"/ 6.4 thin Films and up] and Paper, both with and without extrusion coatings, in widths up to 87" (2210 mm). About Acquisition of New, Second Plant During an Unstable Economic Environment:
The acquisition of the plant in Greenfield, Indiana doubles MPI's capacity. The new coater at the Indiana Plant delivers a very vital new curing capability to the Company's state-of the-art equipment line-up, which already includes both ultra violet [UV] and electron beam [EB]. These capabilities, available in widths up to 82", are located in MPI's Winchester, MA, facility. The acquisition not only greatly expands MPI's product offerings but also provides the security and convenience of a climate-controlled facility.
