SPARTANBURG, S.C., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Milliken & Company announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Rebus, Inc., a chemical company located in Aston, PA. The move signals a positive outlook for the future as Milliken increases its global footprint in the area of innovative technologies and products. The transaction occurred through one of Milliken's wholly-owned subsidiaries.
Rebus manufactures pigment and additive dispersions for the thermoset plastics and high-performance industrial coatings markets.

Rebus has been in business for 17 years and is a leading producer of custom blended color dispersions and additives. The company occupies a 40,000 square foot facility. Milliken will continue the operation in the existing facility in Aston.
