NEW YORK, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Sharron Silvers has joined KCSA Strategic Communication as a Managing Director for both the public and investor relations divisions of the company.
For more than 10 years, Ms. Silvers has provided clients across many industry sectors including financial services, energy and professional services with corporate communications, media relations and investor relations counsel. She has advised clients on a wide range of issues from mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, spin-offs, shareholder activism and corporate launches.
Recent work includes advising Energias de Portugal's (EDP) $2.7 billion acquisition of Horizon Wind Energy, VeraSun's $420 million initial public offering on the NYSE, Genpact Limited's $494 million initial public offering on the NYSE, Commvault's $120 million initial public offering on NASDAQ, the global launch of ELX, Electronic Liquidity Exchange, and the purchase of First Forest-Based CO2 Emission Reductions by Natsource, a leading emissions asset manager.

Prior to joining KCSA, Sharron developed and led business and financial communications and investor relations programs at Kreab Gavin Anderson and Fleishman-Hillard. She has worked in investor relations and client services at Sagamore Hill Capital Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund with $2.5 billion assets under management, and as a financial analyst at Black Point Advisory, a $300 million fund of hedge funds.
Sharron received her MBA in finance from Fordham University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in art history from Tulane. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute.
