LANCASTER, Pa., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Herley Industries, Inc. announced today that Robert M. Moore, RADM (Ret), a member of Herley's Board of Directors has died unexpectedly.
David Lieberman, Chairman of the Board, said, "On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Board Member Robert M. Moore, RADM (Ret). Bob Moore had served as a member of Herley's Board of Directors since June of 2003, and was well respected by the directors and management of the company. Before joining Herley, Adm. Moore had a successful career in the U.S. Navy, where he earned a Distinguished Service Medal, six Legion of Merit awards and two Meritorious Service Medal awards. Our deepest sympathies go out to his entire family."
