Landor Associates Taps Cheryl Giovannoni to Lead European Region

SAN FRANCISCO, May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Landor Associates, one of the world's leading strategic brand consulting and design firms, today announced that Cheryl Giovannoni (44), has been appointed president, European region, effective immediately. Giovannoni replaces departing president of Europe and Middle East region, Phil Duncan.

Charlie Wrench, Landor's chief executive officer, said, "I've asked Cheryl to take on the role of president for the region because of her stellar track record in London and her great strengths in leading and building key client relationships. Cheryl Giovannoni joined Landor in 2005 as managing director of the London office. During her time in that role she has continuously delivered outstanding results, culminating in Marketing magazine's Agency of the Year award in 2007. Additionally, she has led critical client accounts including the recent, and hugely successful, repositioning of Morrisons. Reporting directly to Charlie Wrench, Giovannoni will retain her role as managing director of the London office, while overseeing all eight offices in the European region.
