Top Local Chefs Teach Cooking Classes at Tri-C

CLEVELAND, May. 20 /PRNewswire/ --

CLEVELAND, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Cuyahoga Community College will offer community cooking classes with some of Cleveland's top chefs teaching these hands-on courses. The choice of classes covers most cuisines, ranging from Tex-Mex and Caribbean to various BBQ and Chinese. There are also courses to improve knife skills, wine selection, and pasta-making.

The first summer course begins on Tuesday, May 27 with Traditional Korean Cooking at 6:30 and the last of the 23 classes ends Wednesday, August 20, with an Indian Primer class. The classes will run from 6:30-9:00 p.m. weekdays or on a Saturday beginning at either 1:30 or 2:30 p.m. Chef instructors include Brandt Evans, Richard Fulchiron, Brian Doyle, Jeff Fisher, Mike Piazza, and Jonathon Sawyer.


Most of the courses which include hands-on food preparation and tasting the meal, cost $75, unless otherwise noted. The classes will be held at Tri-C's Metro Campus Culinary Kitchen at 2900 Community College Ave. in Cleveland on the South Concourse, Room 87. Secure underground parking is available off of Woodland Avenue.
