"These advertisements embody the insight, community, creativity, values and passion required for excellence in architecture and advertising," said Laura Viscusi, publisher of Architectural Record. "They provide a view of what's new and what works well."
Winners for "Best of Show - Single Page" included The American Institute of Architects and Giant Ideas for "Walk the Walk" on page 204 of the January 2008 issue; National Gypsum Company and Luquire George Andrews for "New Gold Bond Brand" on page 140 of the February 2008 issue; Sage Electrochromics, Inc. and Falls Agency for "Intense Intense Ingenious" on page 31 of the March 2008 issue; and Sloan Valve Company and Interline Creative Group, Inc. for "Ecos" on page 31 of the January 2008 issue. Ganton & Associates. Single page winners named were AS Hanging Systems; Benjamin Moore & Company; Boyd Lighting; Dupont Building Innovations and Ogilvy; PPG Industries, Inc. and Blattner Brunner; Rixson Specialty Door Controls; Rocky Mountain Hardware and Burchiellaro Design; SteelDoor Institute and O'Neill Marketing Strategies, Inc.; TOTO USA; and Whirlpool Corporation and Miller Brooks.
