"Josh has been instrumental in distinguishing H&K as a global leader in technology communications. His superb credentials and expertise leveraging research to deliver the higher-value strategic counsel for clients is second to none," said Paul Taaffe, worldwide chairman and CEO of H&K.
Reynolds launched the PR industry's first and fastest growing dedicated analyst relations practice. During his 5-year tenure at H&K, he also developed a series of proprietary messaging and positioning tools, informed by research and insights from leading technology analysts.
Reynolds and his team of dedicated practitioners have since developed corporate positioning, messaging and industry analyst validation for a broad range of technology companies, including Cartesis, Deloitte, eBay, EDS, Facebook, First Data, HP, Hyperion, Motorola, Opera, Project Better Place, Qualcomm, SK Telecom, Sony DADC, Symantec, Verisign and Yahoo!
Reynolds recently spoke at the Gartner Spring Symposium in Las Vegas about influencer marketing strategies driving business impact and the future of influencer marketing. He will be giving a similar speech at the Gartner Spring Symposium in Barcelona on May 14, 2008.
This is the latest in a series of high-profile, top-level national and international senior appointments in H&K's technology practice. Recently Maureen Davenport SVP was promoted to director of the US technology practice and Peggy O'Neill, former head of Oracle's analyst relations program, was appointed as senior vice president, US director analyst relations practice.
"I am honored to lead a global practice of talented specialists," said Reynolds. "Our research-driven approach to communications in high-tech, clean-tech or consumer-tech provides clients with a competitive edge which will prove invaluable in economically challenged times."
