LandCastle Title Establishes Vendor Management Division

ATLANTA, May. 01 /PRNewswire/ --

ATLANTA, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- LandCastle Title LLC, the title company of Morris|Hardwick|Schneider, one of the nation's largest real estate law firms, has established a new vendor management division, LandCastle Lender Services, which will allow clients to use LandCastle Title as a one-stop operation for closing, title and appraisal services in all 50 states.

The new division is another step toward LandCastle Title and M|H|S' goal of providing end-to-end real estate closing services nationally.

"We are expanding our offerings in response to client needs and reaching into new states," said Nat Hardwick, LandCastle Title CEO. "LandCastle Lender Services brings our brand and what it stands for -- exceptional customer service, quality and efficiency -- to the vendor management industry nationwide."

Using an optimized, Web-based ordering system, clients place title, closing and appraisal orders using a unique login and password. Clients are able to follow the progress of orders with status updates and may retrieve title and appraisal products online. Utilizing high-tech solutions, LandCastle Title is able to offer very quick and efficient turnaround times for title and appraisal products.

"Our clients don't have to sacrifice relationships for technology," said Hardwick. "Throughout the entire service process there will always be primary contacts available who are actively engaged in the service provided. This means there is no waiting on hold for a representative and no worrying about your request sitting in an inbox because someone is out on vacation."

Lynne Sparks, LandCastle Title president of vendor management, will manage the operations of LandCastle Lender Services. She has spent her entire 20-year practice handling residential closings, including managing her own real estate practice. She joined M|H|S in 1997.

"LandCastle Lender Services is one of the few vendor management companies owned and supervised by attorneys," said Sparks. "This means that clients receive high-quality service that adheres to local real estate law."

Richard Miller, LandCastle Title president of national business development, will oversee the business development efforts of the new division. Since joining M|H|S in 1994, he has opened offices in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida and has a keen understanding of the needs of lenders operating on a multi-state platform.

"By listening to our clients, we identified a need for a greater level of service, compliance, efficiency and professionalism in vendor management," said Miller. "LandCastle Lender Services is designed to meet this need."

Habib Shahen, LandCastle Title vice president of vendor management, will manage the technology and operations of LandCastle Lender Services. He has 17 years of vendor management experience.

LandCastle Lender Services will operate under the title company's service BASICS, a written commitment to exceptional customer service through concrete guidelines such as returning all phone calls and e-mails within two hours, meeting all promised deadlines, and completing title commitments and sending them to the client within 24 hours of receipt of title.
