Ian Baer to Lead New York´s Big Fuel

NEW YORK, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Industry veteran Ian Baer has been named president of Big Fuel Communications, Avi Savar, agency founder and CEO announced today. A passionate agency builder and strategic leader, Baer is poised to lead an agency he feels is perfectly positioned to meet the rapidly evolving needs of today's brand marketers.

Baer brings twenty-one years of agency experience spanning across nearly every marketing discipline including brand strategy, digital, advertising, direct and promotions. A passionate voice in integrated brand marketing, Ian served as General Chair of the 2007 John Caples International Awards, the world's leading digital and direct creative competition, and now serves on the Caples board of directors.

A native of Brooklyn, NY and a die-hard Yankees fan, Baer lives in Long Island with his wife, five kids, four dogs, four cats, one bird and a 15-passenger van.
