Mountain State U, bankers group become partners

BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) - Mountain State University and the West Virginia Bankers Association are forming a partnership to provide continued education to workers in the banking industry.

Officials with the private Beckley-based university and the bankers group plan to sign an agreement formalizing the partnership on Nov. 9.

Bankers association Director of Education Donna Atkinson says Mountain State's leadership programs fit well with the banking industry.

Mountain State's Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Master of Science in Strategic Leadership programs will be provided to association members, along with the university's Spectrum Business general education options.
